Okki Poortvliet is an artist, documentary filmmaker, and designer. She received her BA Design at Academy Minerva and Philosophy at the University of Groningen. Rooted in Drenthe, she has developed a distinctive film style in which documentary, fiction, and installation art intersect. Her work is anthropological and experimental, with a keen eye for visual composition and absurdity. Her work has been presented at Dutch Design Week, het Drents Museum, and on location in village halls and canteens. She has collaborated with, among others, Into Nature, NTR, New Noardic Wave, and CBK Emmen.
