About De Bult
De Bult, a newly commissioned work by Publik Universal Frxnd (fka Richard John Jones) is a continuation of a long-term project by the artist with Philipp Gufler on the disappearance of queer social spaces. De Bult is inspired by 18th century ‘lolhuizen,’ as well as by the bar of artist Cosy Pièro (1937-2023), of whom we are lucky to present drawings as part of the exhibition.
