Saturday 26 September, Syb opens at 19:00 for Museumnacht FRL. Come by to catch Billy Morgan's performance. Our bar will be open and will feature a two-course transformation drink, designed and served by Amsterdam-based artist Lupita Reggiani
About the performance:
The Hunt (Woodland Theme) is a performance by Billy Morgan, as part of her ongoing research residency at Syb. Drawing on a core line from her original work The Hunt (2025) — “Dear General, when are you going to protect me, since I am in need of protection?” — the work refers to infrastructural abandonment as common both to trans life and artistic labour. This variation includes new gestural and text material developed in Beetsterzwaag, drawing on the witnessing of local forestry work. The showing takes place across Syb’s ground floor.
