After the ‘positive advice without priority’, which SYB received in September 2020, Kunsthuis SYB submitted a motivated objection to the Fund. After weighing this objection, the committee has declared it to be valid.

SYB’s current resident is Anna Hoetjes (1984, Amsterdam). While SYB is currently closed to the public, we still want to continue to offer artists the opportunity to further develop their work.
On the 1st of April, Josje Hattink interviewed Maarten Bel about his stay at Kunsthuis SYB in Februari & March of this year.
