17 JAAR, NU AL DE BESTE KUNSTENAAR OOIT!!!!!!

Residency Herman Knottnerus

In ongoing pursuit of young talent SYB goes to the extreme. A younger art duo than this one is hard to come by, a much better one, as it goes, as well, because these two represent the absolute top. In the summer weeks Herman Knottnerus en Pikachu will reside in SYB. A collaboration that started as two competitors for the title of best artist ever and resulted in a bond after a year of artistic warfare. Knottnerus en Pikachu turned out to be equals in strength.

From the project description from Knottnerus:

Herman Knottnerus (Groningen, 1991) is eighteen now but will always remain seventeen at heart. He is studying at The Minerva Academy (Groningen). We congratulate the academy on the rare privilege to be able to count the best artist ever among their students. Of course we are very proud ourselves to be granted with his presence in Beetsterzwaag, and not least we express our gratitude to Pikachu, who to Herman is inferior in nothing, although he remains a small yellow and quite infantile in shape.
